Astor Barnes will talk about his experience as a leading artist at Dobra Studios. He's been working there for five years, and during that time he's had the opportunity to experiment with methodologies that are outside the traditional industry. This independent group develops personal video games with deep local, human and emotional perspectives, and Astor's career is based on illustration and recording.
In his lecture, he will explain how new approaches can be incorporated, showing technical and practical opportunities to understand and work on video game creation in a close and accessible way. To this end, beyond the usual approaches, he invites a different understanding of art and design, and presents the practical cases of Dobra Studios and Astor's personal projects.
