'The dream of the Sultana' is an Indian feminist story written in 1905 by Begum Rokeya Hussein. Inés is a 30-year-old Spanish animation director who is in Ahmedabad to break up with her Indian lover. By chance she enters a bookstore where she discovers this novel in which an imaginary country governed by women is narrated. Fascinated by the story and the transgressive attitude of the author, Inés decides to make a film. Director Isabel Herguera will receive the EITB award during the night called EITB GAUA, dedicated to an EITB production.
